eat it: el trompo

After discovering El Trompo in Kensington market, it has been my go to for authentic Mexican food. Grand Electric in Parkdale is still my favourite restaurant for Mexican food but that has a hipster feel to it whereas El Trompo feels authentic. I love the decor in the restaurant, I feel like I've been transported to Mexico and all the servers are so friendly! Their guacamole is to die for, I could eat this for the rest of my life! The chorizo tacos are also quite good but my favourite is the Chuleta con queso, a pork and cheese taco.
