wear it: pleather wearing hippie and good TV

This maxi dress and flower crown definitely paints me as someone desperately clinging on to summer. My secret? I put some tights on underneath so I don't catch my death. I had to throw on a scarf and jacket after this before I could brave the outdoors. I'm eventually going to have to admit that there will be no more sangria on patio days anymore but instead I'll be trading in sandals for wooly socks and summer dresses for fleecy robes. Tucked in my bed, I can laugh through the my shared mishaps of Mindy on The Mindy Project, cringe at the awkwardness of Jess on The New Girl and curse that the girl under the yellow umbrella will never reveal her face on How I Met Your Mother. I can admire the ladylike qualities of Lady Mary on Downton Abbey, hold my breath for the finale of Dexter and try and figure out what Kalinda is up to on The Good Wife. I've even taken up flirting with Harvey and Mike on Suits. I guess fall isn't so bad after all.
