Sweater: Wilfred. Skirt: Simons (similar). Booties: Top Shop. Necklace: Aldo Accessories. Bag: Marc Jacobs. One of the highlights of going to Montreal is going shopping at Simons. They always have a fantastic selection for every price point and they've never disappointed me before. One of the pieces I picked up last weekend was this flared baroque skirt. I love this shape, it gives the illusions of curves and is forgiving!
It's been awhile since I've worn a graphic tee, the bulldog is hardly a graphic tee, well, more of a tank really. But lately I've been gravitating to them, that and dressing in all black. I thought I would pull myself out of the dark rut with my rainbow skirt. Let's see if my mood lifts with it. bulldog tank: mendocino / skirt: prabal gurung for target / jacket: h&m / flats: steve madden / watch: michael kors / bracelet: stella & dot / ring: house of harlow
My friend pinned this children's hat on pinterest and I knew I needed it in my life. Paired with a pair of mice shoes and I'm telling a story of how the mice is running away from the cat! crop top, skirt, hat: h&m / shoes, bag: marc by marc jacobs
I've got a new shopping agenda. No more fast fashion, meaning no more buying cheap trendy pieces. Instead, I'll only be buying investment pieces in neutral colours to build a good, versatile closet. First up, this black and white DVF dress I picked up at Holt's sale, I even made my way to Yorkdale to take advantage of the extra 20% off because of their construction! I'm off to pack now, I'll be spending the next week in a little slice of paradise.
I use to avoid white like it's the plague but now I'm loving how clean and fresh the colour looks. Did you see that Instagram can record videos now? I made my debut on Glow's account sharing with our followers one of my favourite beauty products. Excuse my weird presentation voice!
denim jacket: bcbg / top: from the hk market / skirt: joe fresh / shoes: cole haan / bag: marc by marc jacobs / watch: michael kors
A while back I was walking on Queen Street when a ring, very much like the third picture caught my eye. I tried it on but didn't buy it and lo and behold, Daniel brought back this Design Tun ring for me from Brazil and it was love at first sight. The design is laser cut from rubber, how cool is that? The shopaholic in me (which I've been trying to subdue for the past few months) came bursting out and I bought a bracelet and ring on the website. Lucky for me, they're not pricey at all so it still fits nicely in to my monthly budget. The site only has Portuguese, so thank goodness for google translate! . All photos except for the top two are from Design Tun
