diy it: Donut Wreath

I have been searching high and low for donut ornaments but they are sold out everywhere! So I've decided to settle for a homemade donut wreath to compliment my cupcake and macaron Christmas tree. It's simple to make but just very time consuming, it took me 2 hours to make mine! I suggest putting on your favourite Christmas flick (my fave is Love, Actually), have an assortment of donuts as snacks and cut and glue away!

You'll need: cardstock, gold and pink tissue paper, scissors, white glue, pom poms, pipe cleaners.
One: Cut out your donut wreath, I made mine 14" in diameter.
Two: Cut the gold tissue paper into squares at 1" width, scrunch them up and glue them all along the outside edge. Make sure to make the inner edge uneven so the "icing" will look more realistic.
Three: Fill the inside with pink tissue paper using the same method as above.
Four: Cut the pipe cleaners and glue them along with the pom poms as sprinkles for your donut.

And I just couldn't help myself, I had to make some for my Christmas tree!
