eat it: Lucky Red

Bahmi Boys is one of the restaurants in Toronto where I find it hard to just walk by without popping in just for a snack. Their kalbi beef tacos are my favourite. That's why I was so happy to know that Lucky Red has been revamped and finally open. I tried the hambaoger which tasted exactly like a big mac! I love pillowy baos, it's one of my favourite comfort foods. I also had the fried chicken and Nachos Koreano which used fried wonton skins as the base, both were very tasty. For dessert, my friend convinced me to try the durian tart. I absolutely detest durian, I must have had a rotten one before because I'm convinced they taste like feet. The tart was surprisingly pleasant, it helped that there was the rust, peanuts and ice cream to mask some of the durian taste. You should go for it if you're feeling especially adventurous that day.
