wear it: dress it down

dress-it-down.jpg

Remember this dress? It was my birthday dress two years ago and ever since then, it's been collecting dust in my closet. I'm not in love with the sleeves, they're puffy, and not in a good way. I meant to wear it to a wedding this summer but as soon as I looked at my arms, more like bat wings, I tore it off. My clothes are like my children, it's sick, I know, I need some serious help because I hate neglecting them. Cue in Tammy Palmer, stylist extraordinaire and her tips on how to dress a fancy dress down in September's Glow. On came a belt, a big chunky sweater and some low key shoes so I can bring a party dress into the office. Genius!

I've also been meaning to inject more of a personality and content into my blog to help it grow. Lately I feel like it's just been in a fashion rut of me spinning (literally) and spewing out some meaningless words. Once upon a time, I loved to write and I've been dying to get that passion back except I'm not sure what kind of tone I want to use in my blog. It's a fine line between becoming a reality "blog" show and being real. I also don't want to come off as hoity-toity or someone that bitches about everything. Stay tune friends.
