wear it : mullets & rainboots & turkey weekend!
It's the long weekend! I'll be puttering around attempting to make some mushroom strudels for the three thanksgiving dinners I'm going to. If all else fails, don't worry, I'll show up with a pot of plain white rice with some soya sauce on the side for flavour.
We shouldn't wait till thanksgiving to be thankful for all that we have but it's a good excuse to do some reflecting.
I am thankful for my loving, nagging parents because it still shows they care even after all my crazy shenanigans.
I am thankful for my wonderful friends who treat me like I'm their significant other.
I am thankful for my amazing job and a wonderful team. Being excited to get to work and see my co workers is amazing and this job has boosted my self esteem and pushed my creativity further than I could imagine. Every day has new challenges and keeps me on my toes.
A girl can't ask for much more than that!
To tie you over the long weekend, here is a roundup of links: I love a good documentary, here are some of Joanna Goddard's latest picks Erin Jung, a designer I've been following their career's latest work. She and Andy Miller make poop and puke charming! what a beautiful photoshoot I'd love to wake up to this I'll be making these for thanksgiving this weekend
