eat it: The George Street Diner

The George Street Diner is perfect when you want a yummy greasy breakfast. I went to lunch today and to my pleasant surprise, buttermilk fried chicken was the special of the day. Thankfully I had a friend to share the guilt with, we shared the curry chicken salad along with the fried chicken.

I know, curry chicken salad? I was skeptical at first too but it is de-li-cious. There are apples in the salad which mixed in sweetness with the saltiness of the curry. The fried chicken was very good, very crispy and the chicken was tender. It was served along fries and coleslaw, I could have ate five plates of it.
